Dr. Lucas A. Hultman is a skilled podiatrist at University Podiatry Group who is dedicated to helping patients improve foot and ankle health. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up in the Westwood area.
Dr. Hultman earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He then continued his medical education and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2016. He graduated with honors and was recognized as a member of the Pi Delta Society for his strong academic work and dedication.
After podiatry school, Dr. Hultman completed three years of advanced surgical training through the DVA Greater Los Angeles program. During this time, he trained at respected medical centers, including West Los Angeles VA Hospital, Olive View UCLA Medical Center, Kaiser Woodland Hills and UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. This hands-on training gave him deep experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
His training focused on limb salvage, trauma care, adult forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, and sports medicine. This means he works with patients who have serious foot injuries, chronic foot problems, sports-related conditions, and complex structural concerns. Dr. Hultman is committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore movement and protect long-term foot function.
In addition to surgical care, Dr. Hultman also has special training in non-surgical treatment options. He believes many foot problems can improve with the right conservative care. His experience includes treating foot pathology with custom orthotics, supportive devices, and personalized treatment plans designed to improve comfort and mobility.
At University Podiatry Group, Dr. Hultman provides professional and patient-focused care for a wide range of podiatric needs. He takes time to understand each patient’s condition and offers treatment options that match their health goals.
