Dr. J. Braxton Little is a skilled foot and ankle doctor at University Podiatry Group. He has many years of training and experience in podiatric medicine and surgery. His goal is to help patients improve foot health, reduce pain and move more comfortably.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dr. Little began his education at the University of Oklahoma. He later earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Chicago, Illinois.

After medical school, Dr. Little completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beverly Hills Medical Center in Los Angeles. This advanced training helped him build strong skills in diagnosing and treating many foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Little is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. These achievements show his commitment to high standards in podiatric care.

He has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. This includes advanced procedures that help repair injuries, correct deformities and improve function. Dr. Little also focuses on arthroscopic repair, which uses small tools and techniques to treat foot and ankle problems with precision.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Little has helped train new podiatric surgeons. For more than six years, he has worked with recently graduated residents who want to strengthen their surgical skills in foot and ankle care.

Dr. Little also served as the Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Providence/St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. This leadership role reflects his experience and dedication to quality patient care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Little has shared his knowledge by speaking on many podiatric medicine and surgery topics. His lectures have helped support learning in the field of foot and ankle health.
